positive things this summer 2019

Hello, my lovelies!
I thought it was about time I checked in with you all with another blog post actually about my life shinanigans. More importantly my world right now with my positive glasses on. I’m not gonna lie that this summer has really had some real lows for me and my health has been constantly shite. So I really wanted to take the opportunity to focus on anything positive, and what better way than to share the 5 most positive thing going on for me This summer because who really wants to be sat there hearing me moan on about the negative crap.

Spending well deserved time with my family and friends.

This year I’ve been massively lucky to be spending so much more time with my family and friends. It has been so lovely to be able to freely spend time together with friends mixing with family on lunching and adventures.

Myself and Emma have been massively lucky to be so involved with one of our best friends weddings. We have spent so much time together helping her with making things, painting things, decorating things and getting prepared to have the celebrations held here on the farm. The week of the wedding was the busiest week of madness every part was new memories made.

I have a newfound obsession and love for vinyl and personalising everything.

So back in February on our trip away to Disneyland, our return journey home with my newly named Fiancé (Yep I still get a buzz from saying it) we experienced some real lack of safety on an elevator in the train station we were at in France, causing injury to my poor Em and damage to our newly brought suitcases. So after months of writing back and forward letters of complaints (in french I might add), Em finally received compensation for what happened.

Em being as amazing as she truly is has treated me to something I have wanted for absolute years, the Cricut Explore Air 2. Oh my gosh, I am so lucky! If your reading this and thinking what on earth is a Cricut, well basically it’s a machine I can use to cut many different designs, shapes, etc on to vinyl, paper, card, all sorts! But my biggest love for the Cricut is VIYNL. I am labelling and decorating everything in sight right now! And the more I get into it the more complicated designs and projects I am wanting to have a go at. If you want to see exactly what is on my desk, check it out here.

Meet Bella…. our 8-week old pup.

Yes, that’s right. I have the most exciting news. It has finally happened. We made a family today, with the addition of this beautiful pup. We are proud fur baby mummies, and yes I am loving it already. Yay.

Having spent a week puppy sitting a beautiful Frenchie dog, Lola. The heartbreak was really saying goodbye to her as she went off home. We decided we needed a puppy in our life so much. It has been a very long term goal for us anyway so it was going to happen sooner or later either way.

Bella is tiny and weighs a measly 900kgs at the moment. She is the same size as a Sky TV remote. That is proper titch like I keep panicking when I can’t see her and she’s always in an obvious place in the end!

I promise you now Bella is going to be the most spoiled puppy ever. She currently has coordinating everything right now!

I apologise now for the influx of puppy pictures you will be receiving from me from now on.

So now I am Looking forward to the adventures to come…

We have had some great things to be positive about. I am more and more determined every day to not let pain get the better of me. We also have so much more to come. We’re be spending a day feeding meerkats soon. Going to the beach and focusing on life a hell of a lot more. Since life is for living after all. Next year we’re be getting married so will have lots of things that we will need to do for our big day. So I’m looking forward to the new challenges and adventures to come.

That’s me done for now…

Love your “positive glasses”…I think I need to get a pair of those. I also appreciate the idea of focusing on 3 positive things; we should all do that every season (maybe every day.) Positive thoughts = positive life. Thanks for a great blog – Sedona
    P.S. Bella is adorable – 🙂
